Professional Dyslexia Tuition
Emma Kenneally is a dyslexia specialist based in Tipperary providing 1-1 professional dyslexia tuition and assessments to individuals (aged 6-14 years).
- Identify and assess specific learning difficulties/dyslexia using appropriate assessments and psychometric tools.
- Provide expert advice and support for parents and educators.
- Select effective strategies and approaches to support children with dyslexia/dyslexic type difficulties.
- Use evidence-based practice and interventions to address specific literacy needs.
Dyslexia Qualifications
Emma is a dyslexia specialist with a Master's of Education in Specific Learning Difficulties (Dyslexia).This was the first programme in Ireland to offer dual accreditation in the area of dyslexia. It allows the holder to undertake assessment of dyslexia and specialist teaching to support learners with dyslexia. Emma is also an experienced primary school teacher with over ten years of experience across a diverse range of abilities and needs. Emma was also awarded AMBDA (Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association) and a SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). With AMBDA status, this allows Emma to have international recognition which reflects the knowledge, competencies and professional skills as governed by the International Dyslexia Association and the International Literacy Association.
Emma is a member of the Dyslexia Association of Ireland and the Literacy Association of Ireland.
Mission
Emma’s mission is to empower parents and teachers and to educate students by providing the right specialised intervention to give all children with dyslexia the right to succeed in learning. Emma hopes to enable children develop their self-esteem and confidence through realising their own true potential.
Dyslexia Services
Along with a specialist Dyslexia qualification, Emma holds AMBDA and APC which are the ‘gold standard’ of dyslexia qualifications and allows her to assess SpLD dyslexia.

Private consultations are idealised and designed to meet your specific needs. Consultations may vary from initial consultations prior to assessments and specialist tuition or independent consultations to provide expert advice and address any concerns.

She has delivered seminars to increase parents’ knowledge of dyslexia and to empower and advise them on best practice in understanding and supporting children with dyslexia. Emma's interest and passion have allowed her to develop and utilise support materials and resources to help children with dyslexia. Her dyslexia tutoring uses structured, cumulative and multi-sensory teaching.
